This is how I spend my free time (crafting) so please browse though both of my blogs and see what you think... Thanks!Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.comBlogger176125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-36314656210790385002011-03-30T18:50:00.002+01:002011-03-30T19:00:22.846+01:00"Thinking of you" collectionMy hubby asked me to make him a "thinking of you" card for the next day - for a collegue at his work. They just found out his wife had cancer - and some of his workmates wanted to send them a card. So I made three to choose from. This first one is the one they chose. I printed off the image, with a simple computer generated sentiment, added a bit of glossy accents on the red and purple flowers and a couple of gems arounf the sentiment, before popping foam pads behind and an embossed border round the card. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsoPBVHh7omu3wfJFyXDNQbLnHcahD41vBmrnva1eAobHi2aBOWQK86gFK6UOWCl7tY5o8dYVTyw3k8tyWLLjNsVn9-QjmTIZmlOvWd7vbphnQLaramiuTC5ZgyEmM1ve6aVgKmPQr3Esz/s1600/thinkig+of+you+white+house+front+copy.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 394px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589932339676723602" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsoPBVHh7omu3wfJFyXDNQbLnHcahD41vBmrnva1eAobHi2aBOWQK86gFK6UOWCl7tY5o8dYVTyw3k8tyWLLjNsVn9-QjmTIZmlOvWd7vbphnQLaramiuTC5ZgyEmM1ve6aVgKmPQr3Esz/s400/thinkig+of+you+white+house+front+copy.jpg" /></a> I must admit, I really like this second card too... another sentiment I found on the internet. I embossed a strip behind the image, added some glossy accents to the flowers and some gems to the bigger flowers. Again, I mounted this on foam - to stand off the card a little. I actually used a cream card this time....I don't often veer -off white, but this time, I thought it called for a softer cream backing. <br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4p-o332AsfjyzOkBe5NOhv7C7wJLK_hIj5cavIodNWnFTp0032XupOK065-qyp2zWt4hV1fTy7vgOnvJQOT63BEi7A73_4qbyn02IK_Jte3xHZJqj-WvcA8WOirQ5bb4JyxKFVMzDRBXy/s1600/human+spirit+%2528cancer%2529+frront+copy.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 383px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589932336671100514" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4p-o332AsfjyzOkBe5NOhv7C7wJLK_hIj5cavIodNWnFTp0032XupOK065-qyp2zWt4hV1fTy7vgOnvJQOT63BEi7A73_4qbyn02IK_Jte3xHZJqj-WvcA8WOirQ5bb4JyxKFVMzDRBXy/s400/human+spirit+%2528cancer%2529+frront+copy.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><br /><div>Finally, the third card I made.... I can't quite remember where I got this image, But I think it is lovely and would easily suit lots of occassions. A simple computer generated sentiment sits at the bottom of the image, which is matted onto red, then embossed round the edge to give a clean finish. </div><br /><div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1ieYznkr1WqRdYWzE0IP8FRMIoOHagXmg-7dunPwKFO_eqqb9HgicG1LBjfkkf-RC8l0HY688vJmHcIkamLwuMh8KKVUGuPkzD_KEbMVrzA_lvq6ZQ1_htvdw2gDsBN1nvZLEKa_p0_Bd/s1600/thinking+of+you+flower+pot.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 384px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589932328459993842" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1ieYznkr1WqRdYWzE0IP8FRMIoOHagXmg-7dunPwKFO_eqqb9HgicG1LBjfkkf-RC8l0HY688vJmHcIkamLwuMh8KKVUGuPkzD_KEbMVrzA_lvq6ZQ1_htvdw2gDsBN1nvZLEKa_p0_Bd/s400/thinking+of+you+flower+pot.jpg" /></a> <br /><div></div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-29501005181289817832011-03-27T10:47:00.002+01:002011-03-27T11:06:57.665+01:00More cardsI was asked to make a card for a little girl called Daisy, for the next morning. I found this image amongst all my crafty stuff, and drew some faux stitching on, and matted it on some old purple docrafts paper that I have had for years. Finally, I added a computer generated image. This image actually looks like Daisy - and I hope she likes it! <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkwXnaLH7mTCMaPy7AFk8o4L90grzLMv4HmKD5DhyphenhyphenW2X8ho5mPUvkfRCUTovj2qZqkAyb1rboPSjsDEptfeYlErTobWDuVMCJ5UVGOY3ibAow6uELoNQLVd6pwtDij4AlqybK-_2JMSe-R/s1600/daisys+card+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5588695595129970946" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 396px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkwXnaLH7mTCMaPy7AFk8o4L90grzLMv4HmKD5DhyphenhyphenW2X8ho5mPUvkfRCUTovj2qZqkAyb1rboPSjsDEptfeYlErTobWDuVMCJ5UVGOY3ibAow6uELoNQLVd6pwtDij4AlqybK-_2JMSe-R/s400/daisys+card+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> I was also asked to make a "thinking of you" card...but colourful and happy looking. So, I used this Debbie Mumm image. I added the sentiment on the computer, some glossy accents on the daisies and a couple of gems here and there. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv91sNroqTrJJ0YXIlRzQMwYOxYLAItWZxwCgU1rBu2D9aXwyTe26j8VPuh-bm5bUU84qUCuE-s3tx_Ugo7pb5AQ1G7R6DljdCipRPoASHF57xNtmdNtPyg9F51yRZ4PRZ3O228mA9v6Tx/s1600/thinking+of+you+birdhouses+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5588695588332145410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 308px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiv91sNroqTrJJ0YXIlRzQMwYOxYLAItWZxwCgU1rBu2D9aXwyTe26j8VPuh-bm5bUU84qUCuE-s3tx_Ugo7pb5AQ1G7R6DljdCipRPoASHF57xNtmdNtPyg9F51yRZ4PRZ3O228mA9v6Tx/s400/thinking+of+you+birdhouses+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> I made another of those cards with the pink/black dress on, as I sold the one I made last week. These rub-ons are really easy and fun to use ...will be having another go with these soon (there were loads in the pack...moving house, wine-glasses, cats, dogs, russian dolls, ipods and boys stuff.) The sentiment is from craftwork cards. <br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJhrxvRkUyIsuQx5SPTniPNzqe8JRUiNGev-PcGpd12NlG878tkUG63cjjSJZzGydYoRwAGcTma-bgShR3cN87UA4N7ZnANPn3k014P2rhHp3wfVPyviw62LiHdOmX70MdybHGyN70Xk3I/s1600/pink+dres+birthday+front+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5588695587992655394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 395px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJhrxvRkUyIsuQx5SPTniPNzqe8JRUiNGev-PcGpd12NlG878tkUG63cjjSJZzGydYoRwAGcTma-bgShR3cN87UA4N7ZnANPn3k014P2rhHp3wfVPyviw62LiHdOmX70MdybHGyN70Xk3I/s400/pink+dres+birthday+front+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> <br /><div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-11778684367323477882011-03-23T21:43:00.003+00:002011-03-23T21:58:07.270+00:00Bits and bobs.I got this lovely set of stamps for my birthday last week, called " the cats whiskers" ...how cute?!<br />Anyway, they are a bit fiddly to stamp, as those cats are soooo small! I persevered though and made this card for my friend...it's her birthday tomorrow. Hope she likes it!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbi5wV5eZbBoYNaVShWi41M0dCBMWmLBHA9_pY5nB2-SecX6N8MCTvlhkuNNgWS91mYpi-wdjRiphGgwXhyphenhyphen_r8347qoGXokDLnZuJeDK1PdlvFZqFc6V4vHk251aCxRnx3BNcr14KzrAS0/s1600/pams+cat+tree+side+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587395232957460226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 324px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbi5wV5eZbBoYNaVShWi41M0dCBMWmLBHA9_pY5nB2-SecX6N8MCTvlhkuNNgWS91mYpi-wdjRiphGgwXhyphenhyphen_r8347qoGXokDLnZuJeDK1PdlvFZqFc6V4vHk251aCxRnx3BNcr14KzrAS0/s400/pams+cat+tree+side+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I made this card a couple of nights ago, using a set I bought recently from the QVC clearout shop in Warrington. This set consisted of papers and 3d rub-ons, which I thought I would open up and have a go with. The rubons are quite thick, good quality and really easy to use!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr7jSEl0moGq0H8RVi8QF-uEH40HsiHw58rhRSn4WykTzCkpAZmEG0nx6hl2NE7olhhUIwvkjaKTqTYXYHysP0wW5YBkC6bbdY7SI-P9hBpzIGuRJ7rutbGYtoVlRmZOfbJS9KuLMTbw8M/s1600/dress+40+front+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587395224364320914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 370px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgr7jSEl0moGq0H8RVi8QF-uEH40HsiHw58rhRSn4WykTzCkpAZmEG0nx6hl2NE7olhhUIwvkjaKTqTYXYHysP0wW5YBkC6bbdY7SI-P9hBpzIGuRJ7rutbGYtoVlRmZOfbJS9KuLMTbw8M/s400/dress+40+front+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I was asked to make a card for a Grandad, for his birthday, with a rugby theme. Looking through my stuff, I realised I have hardly anything for a rugby-themed card! I did find this cute pink petticoat image though, in all my stuff.... and luckily, the person who asked me to make this, was very happy with it! Phew! (Dovecraft papers used and image coloured with chalks.)<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgECHAAS6MsPEs3ICR0gMImJ-_fUA7eaJ8SXBjBIEfpzWizTuiiW7GW1bw0uFVEodTAjEePl_tVI0B3ki7B-ZN9cBQdhUuSnJBAJMKpsU7W_EiHyOyNbq37kclXmuQ4ZKV_TpfPzEnWnrIQ/s1600/birthday+grandad+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587395222289138130" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 357px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgECHAAS6MsPEs3ICR0gMImJ-_fUA7eaJ8SXBjBIEfpzWizTuiiW7GW1bw0uFVEodTAjEePl_tVI0B3ki7B-ZN9cBQdhUuSnJBAJMKpsU7W_EiHyOyNbq37kclXmuQ4ZKV_TpfPzEnWnrIQ/s400/birthday+grandad+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div><br />I made this card with an embossed frame from craftwork cards...i bought it at the Leigh show last weekend. I just mounted it on 3d foam, to give the frame a bit of lift from the card. I printed the computer generated sentiment straight onto the card from the computer and added a few sparkly little gems onot the middle of the flowers.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuoFQ3Hc6IpamP6qd5q2vdlPHbhRIQSI7ykNQaFFYkOg_QeZ-uHBrT60aJbxqojlr594-51To4EYrX_9ebgsWWmWeG0nPEu8W-iYX6EcMWo4SO2wWMPF704FrFZoblXUHxbXAsm9_NVjI6/s1600/mum+dad+anniversary+side+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587395211237654354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 386px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuoFQ3Hc6IpamP6qd5q2vdlPHbhRIQSI7ykNQaFFYkOg_QeZ-uHBrT60aJbxqojlr594-51To4EYrX_9ebgsWWmWeG0nPEu8W-iYX6EcMWo4SO2wWMPF704FrFZoblXUHxbXAsm9_NVjI6/s400/mum+dad+anniversary+side+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div><br />Finally, I made this card for a lovely little girl I know who was celebrating her 8th birthday last week. Ahem....<br /><br />Yes, erm... Smirk papers. Yes. My friend bought me some of these for my birthday so I thought I would make some quick cards with them over the weekend. For this card, I cut all the little squares right down and made them into this card...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDe96tpcbjzwe59MS3touaRYeeJS2EpR3K-Xe-_MztBZ72c7UQRig65kpvs3YpfnN-a8pLlmwJ8CQWuq1XB6PgJtjoRYcwEpBktqKMOWNAyyU9zB-R3rQwEzZsXwfMzVAKbfOd6ch77FEf/s1600/squares+smir+frontk.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 394px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587003197661232898" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDe96tpcbjzwe59MS3touaRYeeJS2EpR3K-Xe-_MztBZ72c7UQRig65kpvs3YpfnN-a8pLlmwJ8CQWuq1XB6PgJtjoRYcwEpBktqKMOWNAyyU9zB-R3rQwEzZsXwfMzVAKbfOd6ch77FEf/s400/squares+smir+frontk.jpg" /></a><br />I decoupaged the "born to shop" sentiment on this card and added a bit of glossy accents here and there.....<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJSzE5ZFwEHuQZW0SLNOKzIZwDNxvQWFSgXE9_W1NWxu5b67vXj388UhN3I8m1v1xGP6QW50y-dYK25QeyLDJa6kEk-hNJLiptz1AQX1cc_CtyDNAZV3ymydFHgHPv_q7e9sm7g5QbNQfo/s1600/born+to+shop+smirk.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 389px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587003193251971202" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJSzE5ZFwEHuQZW0SLNOKzIZwDNxvQWFSgXE9_W1NWxu5b67vXj388UhN3I8m1v1xGP6QW50y-dYK25QeyLDJa6kEk-hNJLiptz1AQX1cc_CtyDNAZV3ymydFHgHPv_q7e9sm7g5QbNQfo/s400/born+to+shop+smirk.jpg" /></a> </div><div><br />This paper is so lovely... I generated the image on the pc, and matted it onto some paper I have had for yonks... thought I would finally use it! I just added some punched flowers on the edge, with some hand-drawn stalks.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVgphaLNdzUfWATsM6eb_czBJ_ZdLxV08N3J9dPXVV6oibpAD9yxG3-TeSowgzwxSq3UJ8ciRU-ByfUuV8cC5Hu8S0bLm6WfF50tOnjaeFhUXTmQ-_hPhbEmf-NevIVcSqD_DusUJgT7tG/s1600/grandma+gardener+front+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5582894541387197602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 397px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVgphaLNdzUfWATsM6eb_czBJ_ZdLxV08N3J9dPXVV6oibpAD9yxG3-TeSowgzwxSq3UJ8ciRU-ByfUuV8cC5Hu8S0bLm6WfF50tOnjaeFhUXTmQ-_hPhbEmf-NevIVcSqD_DusUJgT7tG/s400/grandma+gardener+front+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />This is another image from Debbie Mumm... That's me...on page 79!!!<br /><br />I was over the moon when I was asked, way back at the end of January - but now the mag is out, I can show you!! Thats me on the right hand page! Julie is another papercrafter...very talented, and is on the left hand side with her cards. We both got sent a bunch of yummy stuff to play with and make some cards to send to them (I got the V & A Hanoverian collection)..I made 5 and sent them all as I didn't know which 3 they would have room for on the page. But I'm chuffed with how it came out! ....<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyOa80wrJ2GHbUtymzrfiPAc94wwtovZSpgHVzNVMiCUngQUX2lon-KCh4vcpkwP10APdEiZuhaRzgiwYOF0A6bmhfs9J-v9j7qhCjk-hnN1eQjhuwHPGmTHT9K5PZkQydkWSmbPpLzPFb/s1600/Untitled-1+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578095941166507106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 286px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyOa80wrJ2GHbUtymzrfiPAc94wwtovZSpgHVzNVMiCUngQUX2lon-KCh4vcpkwP10APdEiZuhaRzgiwYOF0A6bmhfs9J-v9j7qhCjk-hnN1eQjhuwHPGmTHT9K5PZkQydkWSmbPpLzPFb/s400/Untitled-1+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />This card took a lot of time to make.,..getting the circle the right size in the paper, stamping those butterflies and putting them on the acetate front, lining up the pergola to fit just in the centre. I must admit, this is my least favourite of all the cards I made, but I love the paper on the front, and hey...it got in!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoPqTd33oQebZ-f0-9rcgvi8LKKlLxS7CDhxtyHU7LVdqEH1oDw-C7QDb_-E1zpMIyYtU-WdkuYwMnGDbxVD8B0bPtd-ff6gSZwyECCq072tVyS1bpIZKZ5rkZzNAhfh47t69N-BN16jXj/s1600/dc+card+3+side+again+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578095942033326546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 304px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoPqTd33oQebZ-f0-9rcgvi8LKKlLxS7CDhxtyHU7LVdqEH1oDw-C7QDb_-E1zpMIyYtU-WdkuYwMnGDbxVD8B0bPtd-ff6gSZwyECCq072tVyS1bpIZKZ5rkZzNAhfh47t69N-BN16jXj/s400/dc+card+3+side+again+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I love this one. It was my Hubbys idea to put the birds on the window... he took a real interest in the cards I was making for the magazine. I cut the curtains from the textured card I was sent, and made little tiebacks from ribbon. I used a brad from the collection to hold the ribbon in place.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwb_YHmShjwraoTJrJ60FLX19V8OqnFew7hTlcO-Tewm046ae1LzPaRfv-TJoT6XGYZ-U5T8dOrxkgMs0KLDMjKv-sW0FMGirzaiO6MIz6zg3y6p7U-D1GxOoh-l80ukH97m_3-ejxIphG/s1600/dc+card+2+side+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578095935747737282" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 364px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwb_YHmShjwraoTJrJ60FLX19V8OqnFew7hTlcO-Tewm046ae1LzPaRfv-TJoT6XGYZ-U5T8dOrxkgMs0KLDMjKv-sW0FMGirzaiO6MIz6zg3y6p7U-D1GxOoh-l80ukH97m_3-ejxIphG/s400/dc+card+2+side+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a> </div><div> </div><div><br />I love the embossing folder that came in this collection, and used it on the cream card on this card. Thanks for looking! xxx<br /></div><div></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAq8ecZ7bAoluBgb31TD5j0RazQzIr0BAdFK_qxU7mMQ_blz-uX_z8X2oIPw4iCjrwaeTQ0pcxQHaWQT4H47sfR8FwOtG2PH2aVF-76YzN_-avuzXTUoZmnk1cae4N2nGPOtCNIBLXASB9/s1600/dc+card+5+upright+side+copy.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5578090605005265394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 202px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAq8ecZ7bAoluBgb31TD5j0RazQzIr0BAdFK_qxU7mMQ_blz-uX_z8X2oIPw4iCjrwaeTQ0pcxQHaWQT4H47sfR8FwOtG2PH2aVF-76YzN_-avuzXTUoZmnk1cae4N2nGPOtCNIBLXASB9/s400/dc+card+5+upright+side+copy.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-89758409642860019072011-02-23T08:43:00.003+00:002011-02-23T09:19:03.733+00:00Todays batch...mainly cats!I just realised that I haven't uploaded the card I made for my Hubby for valentines day! Here it is... It's just us!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK_q1Z239TnTluVxsekRqHYZlGilw_hwIK1kEyPXjqfEuCZAOhYPSSfkODcFWRDhZ0i5U_f-C0g0BwTSvBFDPMtP9yxtd3URgCcotSMGQCrHb5IK7cybnk9axnEV-ll3ks9QZSdlTJ82ZA/s1600/scotts+valentine+card+side+copy.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 364px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576808524780739106" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhK_q1Z239TnTluVxsekRqHYZlGilw_hwIK1kEyPXjqfEuCZAOhYPSSfkODcFWRDhZ0i5U_f-C0g0BwTSvBFDPMtP9yxtd3URgCcotSMGQCrHb5IK7cybnk9axnEV-ll3ks9QZSdlTJ82ZA/s400/scotts+valentine+card+side+copy.jpg" /></a><br />I was asked to make this for someone, which a few people will sign, so I embellished the inside of the card, with the main message matted and layered, for them to sign. I added the text onto the image and used my lightbox to emboss the edges of the card, after matting the image onto that lovely spotty paper I have had for yonks. I have decided that I must start to use that 12 x 12 paper stash!<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF-v_LNYE0r6fPFYvqxTE-VSKrryk0PQlP5zIVIFxoaZ5nzZxfkcf2aoS-a-NL-7kUVjKeyk4sqwkUm4Eo2vFuqk6TZIkxbRiPN-xRUUPgd0tE44LGLHsZGdG5VP_XaPgyEQnqt-J5qCcW/s1600/just+to+say+card+inside+copy.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 337px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576808522013550002" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF-v_LNYE0r6fPFYvqxTE-VSKrryk0PQlP5zIVIFxoaZ5nzZxfkcf2aoS-a-NL-7kUVjKeyk4sqwkUm4Eo2vFuqk6TZIkxbRiPN-xRUUPgd0tE44LGLHsZGdG5VP_XaPgyEQnqt-J5qCcW/s400/just+to+say+card+inside+copy.jpg" /></a> </div><div><br />I printed the text next to this cat image, before I embossed the edge and matted onto black card. Simple, yet effective, I think.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZg4d5WvBM2xyevr-bWQHIA0WcSz4arjtdE1m627eNkQITyJqGJYU0htZpmrq_hL6-3qsMGH9GtkpMYZnN_tvUjIPEwwLqtj-zLzipCJurtzY-Dhetry8-qjr_ez0rzqRTypjGYGPyAqKM/s1600/baby+girl+gingham.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 308px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576432020048475458" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZg4d5WvBM2xyevr-bWQHIA0WcSz4arjtdE1m627eNkQITyJqGJYU0htZpmrq_hL6-3qsMGH9GtkpMYZnN_tvUjIPEwwLqtj-zLzipCJurtzY-Dhetry8-qjr_ez0rzqRTypjGYGPyAqKM/s400/baby+girl+gingham.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Another baby girl card....to match with the boy card I put on the blog last week... I just love the little frame! It comes with the star already on, then I cut out the teddy and glossy accented her nose. I also embossed the edge of the card.. I love doing this, as I think it gives a lovely professional finish!<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVJZb1iGgj_C85IGKdpqcBT_Ewprjd8Thy1-TJoI5epMFlKIalt0EzymukJ_gd42Z3Urib8KIcws5ZJncGLuQxmkzi_jsMmj71l_t89f9WJHIctHfFHOH9w8pFXVuEbVxHo7-YcSuzPc7h/s1600/baby+girl+frame+front.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 386px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576432019495212914" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVJZb1iGgj_C85IGKdpqcBT_Ewprjd8Thy1-TJoI5epMFlKIalt0EzymukJ_gd42Z3Urib8KIcws5ZJncGLuQxmkzi_jsMmj71l_t89f9WJHIctHfFHOH9w8pFXVuEbVxHo7-YcSuzPc7h/s400/baby+girl+frame+front.jpg" /></a> </div><div><br />How I love these bears! I mounted them on little foam pads so they would stand off the card a little. I chalked the edge of the sentiment and matted it onto baby pink gingham. </div><div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFmqixF3FN6Tutn98T7m15RYvlqyqlyoG112hPD5oE57htJOL_xx25uTOyzh54sd_WGG4kdMrBEiqnyxhGsKBQs6rjNmpSBvrpDbdWHCy5IpAmqTPDHx2Phv2yUFdBgK83aDfSxDFyRd57/s1600/babay+girl+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 375px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5576432017032145522" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFmqixF3FN6Tutn98T7m15RYvlqyqlyoG112hPD5oE57htJOL_xx25uTOyzh54sd_WGG4kdMrBEiqnyxhGsKBQs6rjNmpSBvrpDbdWHCy5IpAmqTPDHx2Phv2yUFdBgK83aDfSxDFyRd57/s400/babay+girl+side.jpg" /></a><br /><br />...And here's the little boy bears! I love this one, The paper is from a download site which im afraid is no longer running.....so we can't buy anymore of their gorgeousness :( i printed the sentiment on the pc and decoupaged ted on.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhMJodjLrQAEgEGChnffC7BzJ8vz4gVuyTXNvrGkaSS5hhdhSwoZtnDSwi-d0WhZ1DReWaodiCC5NV-1U04-JjNfuA6eODYR9Nt1iVln5VMjCxZ-fRjVIhQEqBg2tStiJAfRoB0ibobSZS/s1600/babay+boy+teddy+front.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574779595519169970" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 398px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhMJodjLrQAEgEGChnffC7BzJ8vz4gVuyTXNvrGkaSS5hhdhSwoZtnDSwi-d0WhZ1DReWaodiCC5NV-1U04-JjNfuA6eODYR9Nt1iVln5VMjCxZ-fRjVIhQEqBg2tStiJAfRoB0ibobSZS/s400/babay+boy+teddy+front.jpg" border="0" /></a><br />Again, I used my sentiment printed from the pc and a digi element frame I have. I love the feel of them! (they have a linen-feel texture.) I have decided that I will include some of these cards in a box for my Mum<br />and Hubbys Mum for mothers day - thier own little collection of cards. Hope they like them!<br /><br />For this first card, I cut pieces from the different papers...all 3cm square, then inked them all and added faux stictching the the edge of each, with my white sakura pen. I stuck them very close together and added a craftwork cards buttefly with sentiment.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LXd_2OUGVlyJ_2VEUP1h4cLAui3fdz-nmQCrxYLdsLFpIm8gTscaEqbFyfmC3al_z8fPiOyYia9S6dcl4O-7oPF779mZeY53IAngGmbmPYZxwmka8R0-M4B6ugHYm3XXxpE62fOuk3E6/s1600/patchwork+butterfly+1+side.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564379576471293442" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9LXd_2OUGVlyJ_2VEUP1h4cLAui3fdz-nmQCrxYLdsLFpIm8gTscaEqbFyfmC3al_z8fPiOyYia9S6dcl4O-7oPF779mZeY53IAngGmbmPYZxwmka8R0-M4B6ugHYm3XXxpE62fOuk3E6/s400/patchwork+butterfly+1+side.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /> I made this to send to my friend for her birthday<br /><div>.. hope she likes it!</div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Zld8ur0HFbX6E6nDExnBxFesQz8PJeFsE-pgJrYskEi8qJfaE_F4AVQnrkc5bW2naszcRcaCvbJ_UuoNZK1E_wl6k3OXKbyC2_QruJmOLpZdGaBCDfxAd6AmmMbN4fjd5WpWjBs0b8lL/s1600/helen+b+birthday+front.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564379566828557730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 398px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Zld8ur0HFbX6E6nDExnBxFesQz8PJeFsE-pgJrYskEi8qJfaE_F4AVQnrkc5bW2naszcRcaCvbJ_UuoNZK1E_wl6k3OXKbyC2_QruJmOLpZdGaBCDfxAd6AmmMbN4fjd5WpWjBs0b8lL/s400/helen+b+birthday+front.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> Thought I would have a go at a mans card...using the same ideas as the other sentiments cards. Thankyou S.J!!!! I used some papers from a download and added some glossy accents, some pearks and some white (drawn) stitching. She loved it!!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmmlcdnB1M_uV96B-9zlOGO2to_v0iUG2lvFv8UZn9Zys1kc0h2ghnzjylo3DyooUc0G9CV112sL-DkglnkmP4XbXo_xOqRb7FZ0ctDLmyI5HoZar-R4BEULq4QtlK_No0LYFiEXJYw-Ts/s1600/kathleens+card+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 359px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5558028123622537634" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmmlcdnB1M_uV96B-9zlOGO2to_v0iUG2lvFv8UZn9Zys1kc0h2ghnzjylo3DyooUc0G9CV112sL-DkglnkmP4XbXo_xOqRb7FZ0ctDLmyI5HoZar-R4BEULq4QtlK_No0LYFiEXJYw-Ts/s400/kathleens+card+side.jpg" /></a><br /><br />I made this card recently, using papermania papers, a paremania stamp and my beer mug die cuts which i did on my big-shot. She will be on holiday with her fella, sunning herself on the beaches of Thailand, so I made her this card before she went away. I used the "girls about town" images from charmed cards and carfts... they are so easy to use! I did a little jiggery-pokery to make this card more personal to Jane. I decoupaged the woman, the bags and the shop sign and put glossy accents all over her boots to make them shine!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhiizSH-p081cnJ_3HieMzLig8YTq5IImgDzUdJU7e_zNsKnQs7I9MpgZIMrfAFZ1xmyJswqTbKMFPQQsA8qfZVwFCXE_ySWL1CjGnr5e5Ojom0wYnVZjnOE7OJRRC_zelYUXVJhj9MYCL/s1600/janes+card+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 384px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556050893318623506" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhiizSH-p081cnJ_3HieMzLig8YTq5IImgDzUdJU7e_zNsKnQs7I9MpgZIMrfAFZ1xmyJswqTbKMFPQQsA8qfZVwFCXE_ySWL1CjGnr5e5Ojom0wYnVZjnOE7OJRRC_zelYUXVJhj9MYCL/s400/janes+card+side.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br />Now....<br />This is what I bought from a car boot sale, back in October. Hannahs photo-board!<br /><br />I took out the glass and the "picture", painted the frame with a couple of coats of white gloss, covered the back board with some fabric I bought that I knew my cousin (Hannah) would like, used my cropodile to put some holes in, then jewel brads to hold the jute string. I die-cut her name and some flowers and added them to the frame. Little wooden pegs hold the photos that I printed off, of her family and friends. The idea is, she changes the photos as often as she likes. ...and she liked!!!! Hannah is 12 and I worried this wouldn't be trendy enough for her, but I can tell you, she LOVED it! So did her Mum and Dad!!!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0W5yBe7d4aSD-aKq6zam8Ifo2WKF6SjzEN3IhFzjBm56WDo4en9j77cv0cJrOKOwhyphenhyphenmHIwnVVs18cSYGFHl4VToiZKm2-T5tAfRcoHfOz_o7jdBYoeIOJqLG3jg1XAEBqfppYq7BumAoG/s1600/hannahs+photo+board.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 333px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556050884426619554" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0W5yBe7d4aSD-aKq6zam8Ifo2WKF6SjzEN3IhFzjBm56WDo4en9j77cv0cJrOKOwhyphenhyphenmHIwnVVs18cSYGFHl4VToiZKm2-T5tAfRcoHfOz_o7jdBYoeIOJqLG3jg1XAEBqfppYq7BumAoG/s400/hannahs+photo+board.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCg8NcarqW905rrp_TbA0cPRvutoj6eWUtxBnGzWDUJFNvjiaelUYABrVWs_WRS1TaDNjHQGgVtkrjcwaQUlgCmD4LT4cePXPnmK9q9J43h5TkNl5Wmf7id_fOoscp1qaMHETDcV_LlUZq/s1600/hannahs+photo+board+corner.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5556050878467738482" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCg8NcarqW905rrp_TbA0cPRvutoj6eWUtxBnGzWDUJFNvjiaelUYABrVWs_WRS1TaDNjHQGgVtkrjcwaQUlgCmD4LT4cePXPnmK9q9J43h5TkNl5Wmf7id_fOoscp1qaMHETDcV_LlUZq/s400/hannahs+photo+board+corner.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-31062866415085586332010-12-21T17:03:00.003+00:002010-12-21T17:10:19.994+00:00I'm back!Hello! Wow...it's such a long time since I blogged last - I'm sorry! I have been so busy... and I'm all ready for christmas! Everything has been bought or made, wrapped and under the tree. The house is clean from top to toe and I can finally show my christmas cards now that I have given my last ones out at school (work) ....which - by the way - does not close until 3:30pm tomorrow...can you believe that?! Utter rubbish!!!! The day before Christmas Eve! Not good.<br /><br />Anyway...as you can prob tell, I went to town with my new bauble stamp this year. I have had a lot of lovely comments about these from the people who have recieved them, which makes me feel great :) ...<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN2d4g2h4D0l4ChJzEmKZNb9eefwTJrOqbiSxt9VGTcRztapFkgMvNKFUsyYwCUCY7Qc3CydegAY7MoCqWXCHQAa-cX_xRhPt_nVT2r7QRCNkW7KrVNSgf1oUFnBIOMhCLD4rzEFdsJaKr/s1600/brown+bauble+long+card.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 292px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5553182820343248802" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN2d4g2h4D0l4ChJzEmKZNb9eefwTJrOqbiSxt9VGTcRztapFkgMvNKFUsyYwCUCY7Qc3CydegAY7MoCqWXCHQAa-cX_xRhPt_nVT2r7QRCNkW7KrVNSgf1oUFnBIOMhCLD4rzEFdsJaKr/s400/brown+bauble+long+card.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2iXqne7lGWNDs1kKH_ykIex6BfMNBmiS79ARZPkuG_qO-B4f_aosNHwXszo3q_-v5frtotvv2MjZMQtH13vIFoMkzwaWOWTtW4ZTn88MoZfGIH2AMnp2ALKnS_MwZZDRdYTfEy7o9npjA/s1600/blue+bauble+long+card.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 288px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5553182814498039266" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2iXqne7lGWNDs1kKH_ykIex6BfMNBmiS79ARZPkuG_qO-B4f_aosNHwXszo3q_-v5frtotvv2MjZMQtH13vIFoMkzwaWOWTtW4ZTn88MoZfGIH2AMnp2ALKnS_MwZZDRdYTfEy7o9npjA/s400/blue+bauble+long+card.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuBG2x5AfFMwUvybkzq9FnZJQfBulhzz2VPfSm9tPf6zKayIaD2VnJy8QGJAzIa_e1CQhsyY4_bu5Ma1NfszBG84cHrr_j9UaHoNOAo6hacOW-qvfLA5-3Y2BtPDhlh8viUQFTVfq307T/s1600/brown+bauble+a5.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 354px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5553182812926065810" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGuBG2x5AfFMwUvybkzq9FnZJQfBulhzz2VPfSm9tPf6zKayIaD2VnJy8QGJAzIa_e1CQhsyY4_bu5Ma1NfszBG84cHrr_j9UaHoNOAo6hacOW-qvfLA5-3Y2BtPDhlh8viUQFTVfq307T/s400/brown+bauble+a5.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjseQldc_bFKsThVmhr7vM4GOSO3mJQGiUYLYVePijLPWE6_YYART3FNJ-rUtwp7I3vbbo9uJoy5tgtIQLNgpMLWV-4NjAo0bysJTzX1bm0n1pb23v8KQ5L_2AzVBu2RVe9v0GsIOL78Yn-/s1600/black+bauble+1+a5.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 366px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5553182806184433042" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjseQldc_bFKsThVmhr7vM4GOSO3mJQGiUYLYVePijLPWE6_YYART3FNJ-rUtwp7I3vbbo9uJoy5tgtIQLNgpMLWV-4NjAo0bysJTzX1bm0n1pb23v8KQ5L_2AzVBu2RVe9v0GsIOL78Yn-/s400/black+bauble+1+a5.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2xDSo3xm-5c3J_pjvoAOWHupOAgxzVk_awrsQuuh8lRaA43vmnrU1AVpHxGbzbggrTbaryum-Cpib_J6_czXMxgWf10vdndJL9WQwsIwSdp4_s8Z7PdcyBd79Jj_QMZY1ZQEoPeTTqmNG/s1600/collection+christmas+cards+2.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 332px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5553182799793437682" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2xDSo3xm-5c3J_pjvoAOWHupOAgxzVk_awrsQuuh8lRaA43vmnrU1AVpHxGbzbggrTbaryum-Cpib_J6_czXMxgWf10vdndJL9WQwsIwSdp4_s8Z7PdcyBd79Jj_QMZY1ZQEoPeTTqmNG/s400/collection+christmas+cards+2.jpg" /></a> </div><div>For every single card, I stamped the image and then decoupaged the baubles on top again, and added some sparkles. OK... these gingerbread men aren't quite in keeping with the season... Hubby and I promised ourselves that we would make some gingerbread while of work on holiday this week, we bought in the ingredients and everything, and only got round to it today. The smell and the taste of warm gingerbread is just amazing! Just perfcet for a chilly Sunday afternoon.....<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguJuONgdd_RjVFJqTrGFOy2HcyybIRFl_9Bg8Y6dTnPuI8eppY4u3_Ni3Bp_h4nx70C9r4YkMNV7fGNZwQa6CBIrnnEhcZBvgFnd8niGSXAfCZkVHjH8hk-FICl2MzIQt-XICoIwZ6KmWQ/s1600/gingerbread+men.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 332px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534272350297873026" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguJuONgdd_RjVFJqTrGFOy2HcyybIRFl_9Bg8Y6dTnPuI8eppY4u3_Ni3Bp_h4nx70C9r4YkMNV7fGNZwQa6CBIrnnEhcZBvgFnd8niGSXAfCZkVHjH8hk-FICl2MzIQt-XICoIwZ6KmWQ/s400/gingerbread+men.jpg" /></a><br />Oh, and we started running out of baking trays for our men, so we made some little round ginger biscuits with a sprinkling of brown sugar on top...boy, these taste good too!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhh2tzcbT-4kVjpVw6m8qORiXNZulVh7oDuxt0nQhdLbhZmVsEF7dOxjdLex4uuVCHu3mSkhOhFvvkTLDtzT00nc_sf1D5HwL_MiDcOrBVpEf9cIieUR2JuDUs2I-lDcxLGggSBFLJY2Y0v/s1600/ginger+biscuits.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534272336209562866" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhh2tzcbT-4kVjpVw6m8qORiXNZulVh7oDuxt0nQhdLbhZmVsEF7dOxjdLex4uuVCHu3mSkhOhFvvkTLDtzT00nc_sf1D5HwL_MiDcOrBVpEf9cIieUR2JuDUs2I-lDcxLGggSBFLJY2Y0v/s400/ginger+biscuits.jpg" /></a><br /><br />But back onto card crafting...<br /><br />I was asked by mum Aunt, to make a card for her grand-daughter..."she's 18, can I have her name on? and the word grand-daughter, and something girly...she likes shopping?!" Hmmm... think I just about managed to cover all the aspects she wanted! (I used charmed cards and crafts download - girls about town.) I decoupaged the shop top, and the presents, and put glossy accents on her hair and black boots... its hard to see that in the picture. Hope she likes it!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGANgeWmiyK4XoEIicYlvkL_c1Z2mbEYhRj3fKJJMw1PPC9Tgjk7xphy4TVMXow-oDsDqXLJxhelITx36dwgdkaOgd8wCQE3FuEh4I6_JFyCWLnOtEUnOOJ07vSbDY2LnIRy0fVIyPQOEg/s1600/ryans+card+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 346px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534272332922227522" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGANgeWmiyK4XoEIicYlvkL_c1Z2mbEYhRj3fKJJMw1PPC9Tgjk7xphy4TVMXow-oDsDqXLJxhelITx36dwgdkaOgd8wCQE3FuEh4I6_JFyCWLnOtEUnOOJ07vSbDY2LnIRy0fVIyPQOEg/s400/ryans+card+side.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Yesterday, It was my Grandmas birthday and I made her this card...I love that image and the sentiment. I'm sure you know, it is S.W.A.L.K stamp. The paper is from a HOTP kit I have had for a while and not used much of.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4qv492MlZLbfguu72DD_KZ9Gq3s4IouU-I_0WDVzncuLiAoFMT3eQgmb87ZV_rbyPdAcYTGQb1-xItVvoFM2fJoTQ02lLyusOHkTxVHywXUAwdTTFYpBLbnyHnIasXk40mPYfFNUPKHTU/s1600/grandmas+card+front.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 314px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5534272327656873266" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4qv492MlZLbfguu72DD_KZ9Gq3s4IouU-I_0WDVzncuLiAoFMT3eQgmb87ZV_rbyPdAcYTGQb1-xItVvoFM2fJoTQ02lLyusOHkTxVHywXUAwdTTFYpBLbnyHnIasXk40mPYfFNUPKHTU/s400/grandmas+card+front.jpg" /></a> </div><div><br />I also made this card as I realised I have hardly any male themed cards in my baskets... and I do like to have a range for when I need one! Just wanted to show you a couple of cards I made yesterday... I used a digi kit to make both of these as I love this birdhouse image! Everything (apart from the punched flower and leaves ) is from the digi kit....backing paper, image, and extras. As you can see, the bottom card is for my friend Jaki, who lives in Canada, and it is winging its way to her as I type! I used a cream card base for both of these...and it really set them off! xx<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRBGfvnRj5NtozOuOhSIAdq1-ex11hoSpZvtiyvEavENVz54Xirdc1QgylQ8aBo_Kyec2oDDljaJ2tGcyYLenA2wqpCOxheXQ7BJzSyUGybxSwRSjj2qo6ZmNXY3tnBu-G1ql8dLq8BSiX/s1600/autumn+note+card+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 364px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5531290015332352466" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRBGfvnRj5NtozOuOhSIAdq1-ex11hoSpZvtiyvEavENVz54Xirdc1QgylQ8aBo_Kyec2oDDljaJ2tGcyYLenA2wqpCOxheXQ7BJzSyUGybxSwRSjj2qo6ZmNXY3tnBu-G1ql8dLq8BSiX/s400/autumn+note+card+side.jpg" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhocMpCqg2AhyFd1GBwg05RZleqo_XRzEd9Nh9k1hlgAxVCjy3fGTUSi5dBcQpqxnm4ueBQ9lmt2zw_VHvgW3-0JiQL_I8H1XagujtlqRhTNMUo3qwdOJGrG_hjHGqRQI_CogxC5g5M4Nwi/s1600/jaki+bday+card+side.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 374px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5531290008199554146" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhocMpCqg2AhyFd1GBwg05RZleqo_XRzEd9Nh9k1hlgAxVCjy3fGTUSi5dBcQpqxnm4ueBQ9lmt2zw_VHvgW3-0JiQL_I8H1XagujtlqRhTNMUo3qwdOJGrG_hjHGqRQI_CogxC5g5M4Nwi/s400/jaki+bday+card+side.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-19744514634727176272010-10-21T14:32:00.002+01:002010-10-21T14:44:30.269+01:00Yeh!!! Half term!!!Oooh, It's good to be off work, on holiday! We broke up yesterday and have a week and two days off on half term...yipeee! Just think, the next school holidays will be the christmas holidays! (and we only break up on the Wednesday....christmas day is the Saturday!) I'm not too worried....as I prob have about half my christmas pressies already....been trying to get a few in every weekend for the past few weeks!<br /><br />Anyway... here is a card I made recently for a friend to give at an evening do...her friend had got married abroad and they were having a "do" back at home, when they got back. I got this embossed frame at Leigh craft show recently....they were a very good buy! It's a pity thoguh, that I can't remember the name of the stall I got them off, as I would like some more....oh well, I may try and make some myself :) So, all I did, was to lightly colour the edges of the card with dusky pink chalk, add a few pearls and more chalk to the flowers and more chalking around the sentiment in the middle. Quick a quick and easy card, once I knew what I was going to do!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp1BFsgYX2JfxkUlBR7AOFKnTTRAtT-ss-lwE66DnidO5QL9kQ5n1jE4gge0YFv-_zXAyQ6_PXhHeMnP1fNm8rxYPzv9RqDUQiIyYhnq_D4usZE1ZYA7U56OOVjRCwtlDMs-fG9aOgcZTZ/s1600/celebrate+wedding.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 338px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530492716660031010" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgp1BFsgYX2JfxkUlBR7AOFKnTTRAtT-ss-lwE66DnidO5QL9kQ5n1jE4gge0YFv-_zXAyQ6_PXhHeMnP1fNm8rxYPzv9RqDUQiIyYhnq_D4usZE1ZYA7U56OOVjRCwtlDMs-fG9aOgcZTZ/s400/celebrate+wedding.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br />On the same stall, I bought these little embossed toppers.... and they even had a foiled sentiment on, too! I matted the topper on mirrorcard, added some gems (and on some of the cards, I added extra flowers around the edge) oe sometimes - instead of gems - I used little blobs of stickles. Quick, and effective.... though I wish I could remember the name of that stall.... :) xx<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL2ikgeoTMJjxf8qSOeQvO9_w6hvmn_hHE81UpYQVonxCw44T0andyNhmmt1yYaoxNlf83KFwXgMdtATCPfV2QR8rq0ACD_NBp_Zkf-CeRRVTJpFcNm_jZPa24CuQMDc6xyNMVvdQc3STC/s1600/special+day+dragonfly+front+close.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 299px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530492705636693858" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhL2ikgeoTMJjxf8qSOeQvO9_w6hvmn_hHE81UpYQVonxCw44T0andyNhmmt1yYaoxNlf83KFwXgMdtATCPfV2QR8rq0ACD_NBp_Zkf-CeRRVTJpFcNm_jZPa24CuQMDc6xyNMVvdQc3STC/s400/special+day+dragonfly+front+close.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDIMWTUbsI6NwWXodxDPfUqC1S-b06RxyL_kk1t7RHcGKeWIIqwehaq4vHK1XC-WgZ-9B_7zMtZQNszZTFhWfIkYOvpjWPMlqGCWpAdRM1lxmrWvqCCpUQO_Ca3VvKzNyTn8pdiEBv9xt-/s1600/special+day+silver+close.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530492694995391874" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDIMWTUbsI6NwWXodxDPfUqC1S-b06RxyL_kk1t7RHcGKeWIIqwehaq4vHK1XC-WgZ-9B_7zMtZQNszZTFhWfIkYOvpjWPMlqGCWpAdRM1lxmrWvqCCpUQO_Ca3VvKzNyTn8pdiEBv9xt-/s400/special+day+silver+close.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2yFP4Gb_T_RyNqOWAXX8nUE3usnnKfQCmMBKhAr6tPlvs2biW-uEumIAaC80GN94iyvhjQ0rXr3V9A1yEbzXRMIgQE-bTGP_0xuPcaE5F_BZNh9UxiGP7nVkRISwQmLf5jpD50wf9JMxJ/s1600/thankyou+silver+embossed+close.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 299px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530492684161903282" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2yFP4Gb_T_RyNqOWAXX8nUE3usnnKfQCmMBKhAr6tPlvs2biW-uEumIAaC80GN94iyvhjQ0rXr3V9A1yEbzXRMIgQE-bTGP_0xuPcaE5F_BZNh9UxiGP7nVkRISwQmLf5jpD50wf9JMxJ/s400/thankyou+silver+embossed+close.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioVZSFof7OVUNNK2mzKn56SlCxZ5QNgBabOPvEKGxmwS-d7ns7dG42Jk40yNF4NcAeZRKNA_1rgtNoQ9vLUYfJ4Le6dC8BM1WV6F93BKUxIuOENWqXgiU8tRMLL4Xsxsgf15tEKyXL9RNJ/s1600/special+day+embossed+silver.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 390px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5530492681069220290" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioVZSFof7OVUNNK2mzKn56SlCxZ5QNgBabOPvEKGxmwS-d7ns7dG42Jk40yNF4NcAeZRKNA_1rgtNoQ9vLUYfJ4Le6dC8BM1WV6F93BKUxIuOENWqXgiU8tRMLL4Xsxsgf15tEKyXL9RNJ/s400/special+day+embossed+silver.jpg" /></a><br /><br /></div><div> </div><div><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-11721131099287501192010-10-09T22:03:00.003+01:002010-10-09T22:13:45.496+01:00Finally.... I'm here again!Sorry I haven't posted for a while...a few things have been happening, and I haven't felt like I wanted to post. But I'm here again! Thought I would show some cards I have made recently...there have been a few birthdays happening, and I had a few cards to make. I haven't uploaded them all yet, so will save the others for another day...<br /><br />Heres the first one.... I had a session of stamping my little cat, and made a few cards with it. The recipient of this card loved it! I used DCWV paper that I've had for a long time. Also, it was the first time I used my new leaves punch that I bought at Leigh craft show recently.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUnMO0-GhLxZY6rlsGMnSvlJYuAVmECyjkbUdKBj3aJl4uGCBOURq75vbXZ-rV9FzJfK1SqEOMQQl7pgrJgBq7sHvUwOHcylc96JP674rGTkSS3ZMe7w-IQddAtJw3B-6gLRjoEv8hrdEL/s1600/friend+cat+side.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526155385619562402" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 338px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUnMO0-GhLxZY6rlsGMnSvlJYuAVmECyjkbUdKBj3aJl4uGCBOURq75vbXZ-rV9FzJfK1SqEOMQQl7pgrJgBq7sHvUwOHcylc96JP674rGTkSS3ZMe7w-IQddAtJw3B-6gLRjoEv8hrdEL/s400/friend+cat+side.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This next cat card uses dovecraft papers...its the "pets" range of papes, and I don't think I have used these papers before, even though I have had them for a long time! I am into double layering my flowers that I puch out, at the min...gives a little bit of dimension, I think.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIyL9v4UkZzQp530exS1v2wyPuPNVVUriJZcTG9MnKS9vuHjfpHyFyyc0who35THkQyyYf-n9Tp_6ZcooFjGIFy-RCCGaTWdlCuVXZbmBASDYqDfMLXhroBxdJS8AUKqf55twtfJOnXTMW/s1600/cat+side.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526155386086132706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 350px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIyL9v4UkZzQp530exS1v2wyPuPNVVUriJZcTG9MnKS9vuHjfpHyFyyc0who35THkQyyYf-n9Tp_6ZcooFjGIFy-RCCGaTWdlCuVXZbmBASDYqDfMLXhroBxdJS8AUKqf55twtfJOnXTMW/s400/cat+side.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I made this card for a chocoholic, using a digi kit I have had for a while. These papers and elements are sooo cute! I used glassy accents on the hersey drops on the wrapper of the chocolate bar, so they look good anough to eat!<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGD5AvewY5LjWIgeBq0FyAx67Aftd-ZC25PC0bJoD88fnfpDxjOFqS1isJZW6YDiqDgle2gBwZdEbepAAEuikmrgmi0PZN5ZopZ1eLjnXXuEdD_Fgl16gt9iu-1IfP3NWQxXKLEOFymsjK/s1600/chocoholic+front.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526155375702073362" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 376px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGD5AvewY5LjWIgeBq0FyAx67Aftd-ZC25PC0bJoD88fnfpDxjOFqS1isJZW6YDiqDgle2gBwZdEbepAAEuikmrgmi0PZN5ZopZ1eLjnXXuEdD_Fgl16gt9iu-1IfP3NWQxXKLEOFymsjK/s400/chocoholic+front.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Again, I used dovecraft paper to make the main image on this card, and some pale blue and yellow card I had lying around. Just wanted to keep this babyish and boyish. His mum called me and said they loved it :) xx</div><div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXY0Ok2oXadT9MvXIRm87IkIQvr3vQllEAgVYULbhmud7ZwEKi489I1FmsOUnGUaBcdRrAK4kX9rV2EJtfYjzGI59-ejb3gcWYnA_vtufN4vA6EIXH2HsnM9dMv7w5wvFRnVkjyekKB1tG/s1600/charlie+first+birthday.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5526155374325950498" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 376px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXY0Ok2oXadT9MvXIRm87IkIQvr3vQllEAgVYULbhmud7ZwEKi489I1FmsOUnGUaBcdRrAK4kX9rV2EJtfYjzGI59-ejb3gcWYnA_vtufN4vA6EIXH2HsnM9dMv7w5wvFRnVkjyekKB1tG/s400/charlie+first+birthday.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Vickyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01021906931989008714noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1859762866125525274.post-40146122999975834662010-09-05T15:48:00.002+01:002010-09-05T16:03:28.987+01:00A mix-bag...I feel I haven't blogged for a while, so thought I should catch up with myself and upload the pics of cards I have been making in the last week or two.<br /><br />I LOVE this one... its just that cat! ...His little face!!! I used pink petticoat papers and punched a couple of flowers using the same papers and a plain paper, inked the edges and added some pearls, with a craftwork cards sentiment.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSMsCgIlAZZ-S4gsNP95RC7CuKqMiUza6uPER80AitUK9SqrbqRDUM5K8PYpPVpogasq-xS4f6PcPmdGtdiOhXTPFADSn9MgGbxgBZ1qwQpGiGhkrU4fhMZFErvUyJURFmOd3otUN4DD9X/s1600/cat+and+pp+papers+side.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513442073888824530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 387px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSMsCgIlAZZ-S4gsNP95RC7CuKqMiUza6uPER80AitUK9SqrbqRDUM5K8PYpPVpogasq-xS4f6PcPmdGtdiOhXTPFADSn9MgGbxgBZ1qwQpGiGhkrU4fhMZFErvUyJURFmOd3otUN4DD9X/s400/cat+and+pp+papers+side.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Thought I would have a go at making another handbag... I haven't done one for such a long time! I made it from my own design template, and pink petticoat papers. The only embellishing I did on this after the papers, was a couple of spots of liquid pearls.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEndews2FjmzVG5Uyl_6t2EeFAZzee5PQr-j6T8bwZnzg3TOlHKBzSZrREHPA-2TvqLja5-Arubn1tf32eycRSFnam9LKCVRKRVm5Yy88PFelDqHIsxRE6DU5Ma0i0UbxQDMauFNT8K8-J/s1600/pp+blue+handbag+side2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513442066146882050" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 326px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 400px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEndews2FjmzVG5Uyl_6t2EeFAZzee5PQr-j6T8bwZnzg3TOlHKBzSZrREHPA-2TvqLja5-Arubn1tf32eycRSFnam9LKCVRKRVm5Yy88PFelDqHIsxRE6DU5Ma0i0UbxQDMauFNT8K8-J/s400/pp+blue+handbag+side2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />A couple of weeks ago, while we were out camping in the Lakes, it was my Hubbys birthday, and this is the card I made him.... I bought the backing sheet and topper at a carft show in Leigh, in March. (It's back on again in October!!) I just did a simple bit of matting and layering with a middle border...he likes old comics and games and stuff, so I tought this would suit him down to the ground.
